Wahrlich kaiserlich ragt die 3,50 Meter hohe Bronzefigur Kaiser Wilhelms empor. Wenige Meter vom Eingang des traditionsreichen Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bads, in Sichtweite zur Bad Homburger Spielbank, bildet das Denkmal Kaiser Wilhelm I. in Generalsuniform und mit übergehängtem Hermelinmantel. An der Enthüllungsfeier (1905) nahmen u.a. sein Enkel, Kaiser Wilhelm II. und dessen Familie teil, aber auch Fürstlichkeiten, die Generalität mit Gefolge, Botschafter und Honoratioren der Stadt waren anwesend. Den Künstler, Fritz Gerth, zeichnete der Kaiser bei dieser Gelegenheit mit einem Orden aus. Den Homburger Bürgermeister ernannte der Kaiser zum Oberbürgermeister.
