Das 2002 gegründete Ober-Erlenbacher Heimatmuseum ist das älteste Stadtteilmuseum Bad Homburgs. Mit seinen Sammlungen und Dokumentationen zur Heimatforschung dokumentiert es die Geschichte des ehemals selbstständigen Ortes Ober-Erlenbach. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf den Erfindungen vom "Pionier der gärungslosen Früchteverwertung", wie die nach Josef Baumann benannte "Entkeimungsglocke" sowie die Geschichte der 1934 staatlich anerkannten Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für gärungslose Früchteverwertung in Ober-Erlenbach. Zusätzlich dokumentiert das Heimatmuseum Funde aus der Steinzeit (um 5.500 v.Chr.), wie das kleine „Schweinchen“ aus der Bandkeramik, das bei Ausgrabungen 1999 und 2001 gefunden wurde.
