Der Hirschgarten ist eine der weitgehend erhaltenen Anlagen der Landgräflichen Gartenlandschaft Bad Homburgs. Sein Ursprung kann bis Landgraf Friedrich II. zurückverfolgt werden, der das Gelände als Jagdgebiet nutzte. Seine eigentliche Gestaltung aber erhielt der Hirschgarten 1822 unter Landgraf Friedrich VI. Joseph. Heute umfasst der Hirschgarten nur noch ein Fünftel seiner einstigen Größe. In der idyllischen Parklandschaft lässt es sich vor allem bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen herrlich entspannen. Das Highlight des kleinen Naherholungsgebietes ist das zahme Damwild, das Groß und Klein entzückt.
